Mustangs are showing their creativity on this chilly Friday afternoon!

The School Mental Health poster last week was called Just Listen. Students were asked to close their eyes and listen. First, for sounds far away. Next, sounds close to them, and finally sounds in their body. This practise is designed to help re focus your mind when you are feeling anxious or stressed.

Tense and relax is a strategy to help you release tension and anxiety by focusing on how your body feels. Students were asked to reflect on how they felt after trying this technique and add their thoughts to our bulletin board.

Last week we focused on how to feel, then let go of some of those big emotions, and techniques we might use to help with that.
