The Saidat Show! Students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 were captivated by Saidat’s high-energy presentation, which focused on the power of one, the importance of kindness, and how we can support each other to find solutions. Students and staff alike were energized by the music, the movement, and the motivational messages that Saidat shared. Everyone was engaged, smiling and dancing along. Great reviews already for this experience that left our students feeling empowered and inspired to be kind, work together, and find positive solutions to challenges. School Spirit continues with crazy hats and pyjamas!
The weather cooperated today and provided optimal conditions for the LKESAA District Cross Country Event at Canatara Park. Our qualifying Lions ran with gusto and grit, finishing strong races against runners from across Lambton and Kent county. This even included a 1st and 6th place finish! We are so proud of them all and thankful to our coaches for all their time and dedication.

Our Intermediate Co-Ed 2 Pitch Team played really well in the tournament, making some great catches and great batting, with everything from singles to a home run! Congrats Lions, we are very proud of you! Thank you to our coaches, Mrs. Clarke, Mrs. Norcross and also Mrs. Murphy for helping to coach at the tournament.
Grade 6,7,8 students attended an agriculture event today where they learned about different careers and aspects in agriculture. They were also able to experience and practice different Ontario trades. Thank you to Alexander Mackenzie Secondary School for allowing us a tour of their facility and giving students opportunities to see different careers they can pursue.
Students from the Cross Country team had a beautiful day to run in the 30th annual Cross Country Run. Our athletes had a great showing and we want to wish them the best of luck at their upcoming LKESSA City Meet at Canatara on October 22nd. Go Lions!
