Our Olympic Day is scheduled for February 18, with a ‘rain date’ planned for February 19th.
As part of the activities planned for the day, UFOs (similar to a Beaver Tail) will be provided for each student. We recognize that some students may not wish to consume a UFO treat. Please read through the ingredients listed below and determine whether or not your child would like to receive a treat on our Olympic Day.
If your child does NOT wish to have a UFO, please contact your child’s classroom teacher (SeeSaw, email, etc.) to let them know that your child is opting out of this snack. Please let your child’s teacher know by Thursday, February 12th. (There is no need to contact your child’s teacher if they would like a treat on Olympic Day.)

Finally, the Ministry of Education requires that every student have a complete and up-to-date immunization record on file with the local Health Unit in order to attend school. Contact Chatham-Kent Public Health to ensure your immunization records are up-to-date.
A friendly reminder that Dental Screening takes place on February 4th. This is available to students in JK, SK, Grade 2 and Grade 7.
