During Black History Month, we had the privilege of welcoming Janice Carter, a proud parent of two of our Grizzlies, to share her insights and perspectives with our Grade 5, 6, and 7 students. Janice brought a wealth of knowledge, personal experiences, and family history, as well as made meaningful connections to significant historical events during her presentations.
In follow-up to these presentations, Janice wrote two articles reflecting on her time spent with students at Gregory Drive Public School. It was undoubtedly a positive and fulfilling experience for her as well as our students.
