Grizzly Families.
As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, the staff at Gregory Drive Public School would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our Grizzlies, both returning and new, and their families.
Our team has been hard at work throughout the summer preparing our school for another exciting year of learning, growth, and connection. Classrooms are ready, plans are in place, and we’re looking forward to the energy and enthusiasm that a new school year always brings.
We would like you to know that our morning routine has not changed. Staff will begin supervision at 8:25 am. If you are driving, please drop your child(ren) off using the east parking lot, not at the front of the school, or park in the east parking lot and walk your child(ren) to the classroom lineup. If you are walking, you’re welcome to enter the school grounds on either side of the school. For bikers, please note there are bike racks to store your bike on the west side of the school.
There will be multiple forms coming home on the first day of school. Take time to review these documents and return them promptly to your child’s homeroom teacher. Keep an eye out for the September Newsletter, which will be sent out via School Messenger on the first day of school. It outlines additional important dates and information. Additionally, stay up to date on our website, https://www.lkdsb.net/o/gregorydrive, as well as on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/GDPSGrizzlies/.
Please note that the first days of school are busy, and therefore, it may be difficult to connect with our office staff. Leave a message, and we will get back as soon as possible.
We are excited to see you all on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2026, and embark on the new school year.
Best regards,
Zach Halwachs | Principal
