Did you know it's Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day on January 24? We did and wore purple to show support and spark conversations about this rare neurological condition 🐾💜

It was another TERRIFIC day in the cougar den with the Sarnia Lambton Golden K Kiwanis! Today we celebrated some of our most respectful cougars! 🤩🐾

This week Mr. Bouck's class had an electrifying visit from the Science Discovery Squad. John and Joanne shared some hands on lessons about electricity and circuits 🔋⚡️

Due to inclement weather across the district, ALL Lambton Kent District School Board schools will be closed for Thursday, January 15, 2026. Please stay safe.

Wow, we are lucky ducks at Cathcart! 🦆One of our students asked if she could create and share some art in our Learning Commons. Of course we said YES to this incredible artist!

Caring for our community is just what Couagrs do! In the spirit of giving, Mrs. Lopes & Mrs. Bachus' class collected and donated a box full of brand new hats, mittens and gloves to The Inn of the Good Shepherd 🐾💕🧤

THANK YOU COUGAR COMMUNITY! 🐾Today our Student Leadership Team was able to pack 2,100 items into The Inn of the Good Shepherd van (it barely fit) What an incredible gift to those in need. Thank you for helping us, help others. Congrats to Green Team for the most items with whopping 609 💚

It was another wacky and fun colour house assembly with our Cougars on Friday! Shout out to Yellow Team for winning the most points at the assembly 👏💛👏 and thank you to everyone for showing their school spirit 🐾

This week we held a staff vs student volleyball game and the students proved why Cathcart has top teams! Lots of fun for everyone 🏐🐾

We wanted to squeeze in another Colour House Day before the end of the year! Sport your colours to earn points for your team tomorrow! 💚💙💛💜

💜💙COLOUR HOUSE💚💛 We had a blast showing our school spirit at the first colour house assembly of the year. So many smiles and high fives 😄✋

Once again a huge shout out to our Cougar community for helping us, help others! We were able to donate a PACKED vehicle of toys and other items to the PE McGibbon Santa Shop. Their students will be able to "shop" for family and friends during the holidays 🐾💕🐻

It was another TERRIFIC day celebrating some of our most enthusiastic cougars with the Sarnia-Lambton Golden K Kiwanis Club. These students really bring the energy and positive vibes to our school community 🤩🐾

Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💕 Thanks to the generosity of the Cathcart school community, our School Council was able to raise $900 for school initiatives from the Sarnia Produce Box fundraiser and today we donated 400lbs of fresh produce to local food banks. We are grateful to our Student Leadership Team for helping unload the truck, School Council for their efforts and of course our caring cougar community! ❤️🐾

Greg Hetherington, radio host for CKXS 99.1 in Wallaceburg joined our FDK classes for the "Need to Read" program! He talked about the importance of reading, using your voice to make a book your own, and we got to hear some really silly voices! 📚😄

Today we gathered to honour those who fought and continue to fight for our freedoms. Thank you to Mr. Bouck for playing The Last Post & Reveille during our assembly. ❤️🕊️
