Bridgeview's First Pizza Day is a special event!
We are excited to share that the Point Edward Optimists are generously sponsoring our pizza for Fire Prevention Week.
Be sure to order a free 6" personal cheese or pepperoni pizza for your student(s) by Tuesday, October 6th!

Bridgeview Public School is excited to share our first fundraiser - 5lb Bag of Apples from Zekveld's! This is a perfect time to purchase apples for lunches, for Thanksgiving baking, and just for a healthy snack option throughout the day! Of course, Zekveld's is providing us with 7 apple varieties to choose from: Mutzu/Crispin, Empire, Royal Gala, McIntosh, Ida Red, Jonagold, and Golden Delicious. At $8.00 per bag, this fundraiser will help support Student Needs within the school. The fundraiser is only open for a short time - September 21st - October 1st, with pick-up at the school on October 7th. Enjoy the fall season with our Apple Fundraiser!

Tuesday, September 15th - students will go to the Book Fair with their classes to view and purchase
Wednesday, September 16th - last block students can come and purchase, and families will be able to view and purchase during the Open House & BBQ from 4:00-6:00

We appreciate parents & guardians volunteering to help out on our trips. However, starting September 2026, we will require a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) for any adult chaperoning students on a field trip.

The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire bard came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.

This past Friday, we celebrated Inquisitiveness with the Kiwanis and our Terrific Kid winners!
Inquisitiveness is the quality of having a strong desire to know, learn, or explore, often characterized by active, persistent questioning and curiosity. We have so many students at Bridgeview who embody the inquisitive character trait!
These students demonstrated their inquisitiveness in different ways throughout the school in March, and we are extremely proud!

Students who are turning 4 years old this year (2026) and their families are more than welcome to explore our Kindergarten room, meet our staff, and see what Badger Nation is all about!
We will also have two students from Northern attending! The Northern Vikings are Bridgeview's feeder school for our Grade 8 students as they move to Grade 9.
