About

Bosanquet Central School is located in a rural setting and draws students from the surrounding community of Lambton Shores. The community is agrarian-based and is supported by a number of small businesses.

Our school has over 180 students from FDK to Grade 8 English classrooms. The school has a staff that includes a principal, full-time resource teacher, Learning Commons Lead, secretary, teaching staff, educational assistants and contract custodians.

Our school is community focused and maintains an active and highly involved School Council. We promote an open door policy and encourage parents to call or visit the school whenever a question or need arises.

Vision/Mission Statement

Bosanquet Central School strives to uphold the Mission and Vision statements as well as the Engagement Model of the Lambton Kent District School Board.  We promote the development of each child's potential by providing a challenging educational program in a safe, engaging and inclusive environment.  The school's teaching staff, in partnership with students, parents and the community, strive to provide a safe and caring atmosphere that supports, promotes and enables individualized student growth and learning.  The ultimate goal is to build knowledge and develop skills for life-long learning in our students.
