Today, the Government of Ontario announced that students will continue to engage in remote, teacher-led learning for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, all Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) schools will remain closed to students until the end of June.

LKDSB Virtual Learn at Home schools will continue to operate on their regular schedule.
We understand that this announcement may require families to consider additional planning and considerations for the coming days and weeks. A plan for students to access personal belongings will be communicated shortly.
The LKDSB will be reviewing the information from the provincial government regarding end-of-year celebrations and graduations, and will communicate more information to students, staff, and families in the coming weeks after consultation with local Public Health units and schools.
LKDSB Senior Administration continues to work with Principals, educators, and education workers to support teacher-led, staff supported student learning for the remainder of the school year. We encourage families to stay connected to your school community. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's school (note: school voicemails are checked regularly, and messages will be received by school administration).
For up-to-date information and mental health resources and supports, visit the LKDSB website (www.lkdsb.net).
We appreciate the dedication and commitment of staff to supporting students' success. As partners in education, we remain focused on supporting students and families at this time.
