- clothing and accessories that promote alcohol, drugs, sex, violence, gangs, profanity, prejudice or racism are not permitted
- head wear shall be removed when in school, except where required for medical, religious or safety reasons
- bandanas of any style or colour are not allowed on the yard or in the school
- undergaments must not be visible
- sleep attire and underwear may not be worn as outerwear
- footwear should be appropriate for safe participation in all types of classroom, gym and recess activities
In grades 4-8, these additional expectations reflect the changes and challenges faced by maturing students.
- clothing must cover the midriff, the back and the shoulders
- shorts and skirts should be mid-thigh or longer
