The Medical Officers of Health from Chatham-Kent and Lambton Public Health have issued a joint letter to parents/guardians of school-aged children regarding the return to school in September.
Student and staff safety are the top priorities for the Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) as we prepare for the 2020-2021 school year. The LKDSB works closely with local Public Health representatives regarding all health-related matters, including planning for the safe return to school in September and reducing the opportunities for transmission of COVID-19.
Please read the letter from Dr. David Colby, Medical Officer of Health at Chatham-Kent Public Health and Dr. Sudit Ranade, Medical Officer of Health at Lambton Public Health.
The LKDSB will release its detailed reopening plans Thursday, August 13, 2020. After reviewing, should parents/guardians wish to alter their choice from learn at home to face-to-face instruction (or vice versa) please call your school by Friday, August 28 and leave a message outlining your decision to change program delivery.
