About

Welcome to Rosedale School in Sarnia,

We are a strong community minded school with a very active school council, staff and students.  We have a wonderfully active school population with opportunities for children in academics, athletics and community outreach.

Our school hosts the Lego Robotics regional tournament, and provides opportunities for students to participate in science and math challenges within the community.

Our staff provides a variety of extracurricular activities from games club to Rosedale’s Action Committee for Equity and a variety of intramurals.  We have a full offering of school sports for students in grades 4 – 8.

Our area is bounded by Colborne Road to the West, Michigan Road to the North, Highway 402 to the South and Highway 40 to the east.  The school’s 440 students from JK to Grade 8 are an active community based population with diverse backgrounds.

The library has lots of quiet reading nooks for children to enjoy a book, our Gym is host to many community events and organizations and our new playground equipment is a highlight for our kindergarten children.

Our senior students are expected to assume leadership within the school and to be positive role models to our younger students.

Parents are welcome partners in their children’s education.
