We are looking forward to welcoming students back on Monday January 5th. Please note that Ms. Smith, our beloved office administrator, retired at the end of December. Our new office administrator is Ms. McKinley. She is excited to work with the Queen E team and is eager to help! Ms. Southen, our vice principal, is headed for a new vice principalship in Sarnia, so we will be welcoming vice principal Natalie Stokes. She had an opportunity to come in and meet students in December. She is overjoyed to be joining our school community and brings enthusiasm and positivity.

Again, this year the students have prepared a concert to bring in the season! On Wednesday December 17th there will be two performances. The afternoon performance will take place at 11:45 and the evening performance will take place at 6:30pm. Doors will be open at 6:00pm. Looking forward to sharing our talented students with all of you!

The JMSS Concert band played for us this morning and it was FANTASTIC!
Attention families of grade 8 students! JMSS is hosting their open house on Thursday January 15th at 6:30. Students will engage in team building activities and tour the school and family members will get to tour the school, meet the amazing staff and ask questions!
Our Grade 8 students will be heading to Muskoka Woods again this year. Parents are encouraged to join the information session on Dec 9th or 10th on Google Meet
🎓 We couldn't be more #LKDSBProud of Superintendent Ben Hazzard, who leads LKDSB’s Elementary Program, on earning his Doctorate in Education from the Western University! His research is helping strengthen early literacy supports and student success across the district!
