1) Yearbook Staff wants to thank all those who have purchased yearbooks. There are only 30 left. Get yours today. The Yearbook Staff and Mrs. Smit.
2) On April 29th, art students from all over Lambton County had their work displayed at both the Gallery in the Grove in Bright's Grove and the Lawrence House in Sarnia. NLSS was represented well at the Lawrence house competition which resulted in three students receiving certificates for their work. Congratulations goes to Lexi G in grade 9 for receiving a junior design certificate for her paper mosaic entitle "Lemons". Congratulations goes to Layla W in grade 10 for receiving a junior sculpture certificate of her clay dragon eye. Congratulations also goes to Quinn M in grade 9 for receiving the junior and senior craft certificate for her "100 Things".
In the next few weeks look for the display outside of room 160 and be sure to congratulate all the students who participated.
The Lawrence house student art show runs until May 29th.
3) Canada Blood Services is having a blood drive at the Legion on Friday, June 13th. If you are at least 17 and interested in donating blood, please see Mr. MacDougall.
4) Relay participants need to be fundraising. Relay is getting close.
