1) There is a girl's rugby practice tonight after school today. Please get changed and meet at the back doors by the cafeteria. Practice will run until 3:45 PM. (Miss Cook)

2) Attention all girls interested in playing soccer this year. The 3 time LKSSAA champion Eagles squad will be having tryouts next week. There is a sign up sheet outside the girls phys. ed office. The tryout schedule will be determined later in the week. (Mr. Wilson)

3) Attention all Jr. Hockey team members there will be a brief team meeting today at the beginning of lunch in the gym. All team members must attend to discuss our tournament tomorrow. (Mr. Wilson)

4) Sign up for the track and field team has been posted outside the boys and girls changerooms. Team practices will begin next week. (Mrs. Sanders)

5) Frozen Cast are asked to check Google classroom for this week's rehearsal schedule. There will be a lunch rehearsal today at lunch in the drama room for Scene 2 and Fixer Upper cast. (Mr. MacDougall)

7) This is a message of congratulations. Mason P and his Elgin Middlesex Canucks U18 team captured the Alliance Championship over the weekend. What a great way to end Minor hockey - Mason and those Canucks will move on to the Ontario Triple A - championship held in the Ottawa valley area next week - winning that would punch a ticket to the Canadian Championship in British Columbia . 8) Well Eagles you may be young, but over the next 5 weeks you get to be part of history. A federal election was triggered yesterday, which means on April 28th Canadians get to select a new Prime Minister. Perhaps some of the grade 12 students will be eligible and take the opportunity to vote. Stay informed as history unfolds. (Mr. Tichenoff)
