15)Attention all Grade 9 and Grade 10 hockey players! Are you interested in playing for the school in a couple of tournaments against local schools? Tryouts for the Mighty Eagles junior hockey team will be held March 4th from 3-4:30 and March 5th from 3-4 both in Forest. The cost for the 2 tryouts is $30. 17) On Wednesday, March 5th representatives from the LKDSB Technological Education Hub will visit NLSS to present information about upcoming Skilled Trades opportunities for students. The exciting news about the Tech Hub is that they offer SHSM in Hospitality and Tourism, state of the art commercial culinary facilities, aesthetics and makeup arts and a PSW program that ensures you are a certified Personal Support Worker ready to take a position in a highly sought after profession.
