5.      NLSS Junior Girls Basketball:  Last night your Junior Girls basketball team played their best game of the season,  taking  the undefeated Wallaceburg Tartans down to the wire. Our girls kept it close in the first half heading into the locker room tied 15-15 as the girls earned those precious room 160 cookies that motivates so much. In the second half our girls kept it close with some great defense and superb passing. In the fourth quarter Wallaceburg changed their tactics and our girls had trouble with the full court press of the Tartans. Our girls fell in the end 39-26 but it was certainly much closer than the score is indicating. Leading the way for your Eagles was Emmalee G with 8 points and Sammie with 7 points. Great work ladies,  Good luck to the girls as they head to Great Lakes for their first tournament of the season.

6:   Senior Girls Basketball:  Your Senior Girls basketball team continued their winning ways as they soundly defeated the Wallaceburg Tartans 46-26. Great team defense kept the Tartans at bay and great ball movement and team play by all players led to many fast break opportunities  and open looks. Leading the way for your Eagles was Brookelynn M who scored as many points as the entire Wallaceburg team, yes she scored 26 points and Miranda M with 7 points. Great work ladies.

7.      .Cross Country:  The Eagles Cross Country team delivered an outstanding performance yesterday at the LKSSAA meet in Canatara Park, with nearly the entire squad qualifying for next week's SWOSSA championship. The team showed impressive grit across all divisions, highlighted by a strong third-place finish from the Junior Boys team and remarkable second- and third-place individual podium finishes in the Junior Girls division. Congratulations to all our runners, and best of luck as you take on SWOSSA next week!
