1. Pick up Your Yearbook in room 316 Today if your name was called at the announcements. Last years’ Yearbooks is sold out.
2. Drama Club will meet today at lunch starting at 11:15 AM. Please eat your lunch before coming! See you there!
3. Library – Need a mid-day break? Head to the library at lunch! Dro by for Fall Colouring Week – we’ll have autumn colouring sheets, supplies, and a quiet, cozy spot to hang out with friends while you eat.
4. Leadership Council – The NLSS Leadership Council is today at lunch in the Rosemary Room. If you’re interested in helping make NLSS a safe, more inclusive place where everyone feels they belong, come join us. You’ll have opportunities to learn more about racism and anti-racism, Indigenous cultures and perspectives, and ways we can make NLSS a more inclusive community. No previous leadership experience is needed. Just bring your ideas, your curiosity, and your voice!
5. Rugby 7’s! Great results from the Stratford 7’s Festival! NLSS played well in excellent matches with St. Mike’s, Stratford Secondary & Sacred Heart. Stand-out efforts by Jayden A, Justin V, Damian G, Cole M, Noah N and Silas A. Right on Boys! Practice continues Tuesday.
6. Esports Club – we will be meeting Monday and Wednesday. If you want to join, reach out to Mr. Medd or Ms. Herrington – we’d love to have you on the team!
7. Book Club – Read to dive into great stories, share your thoughts and discover your next favorite read? We will meet once a month to chat about our latest picks. If you want to join the fun and get on the list, go see Ms. Herrington in the library to sign up today!
8. LEAD (Learn, Evolve & Accept Diversity) will begin meeting on Wednesdays now . Meet us in the library career centre on Wednesdays at lunch! LEAD is a safe and welcoming space for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and allies. Come connect, find, support, and stand together.
