10. Girls Soccer – LKSSAA Champions – Yesterday your mighty Girls’ soccer team did battle with the LCCVI Lancers in the LKSSAA Championship.  Your Eagles put in a full team effort from start to finish, with all players showing grit, determination and a relentless work ethic.  Sammie L would open the scoring in the first half but the Lancers would score mid way through the second half and push the game to overtime.  This is where the Eagles turned their game up.  Lainie R would score in the first minute of overtime, Kylee B would score shortly after and Ally R would finish the Lancers off with the third Eagle goal in overtime. Final score Eagles 4 Lancers 1.  Brookelynn M played an amazing game in goal, stopping a penalty shot and making many other big saves and kicks.  Sofia O, Emmalee G and Julia L had stellar games in the midfield, controlling the pace of the game.  Congratulations to all team members!  Abby R, Alicia F, Ally R, Ally R, Anna W, Brookelynn M, Emmalee G, Jaime W, Jayla T, Jenna M, Jocelyn F, Julia L, Keisha M, Kylee B, Lainie R, Michelle T, Sammie L, Sofia O, and Vanessa L.

11. Boys Soccer – The Senior boys soccer team hosted LCCVI in the LKSSAA final yesterday afternoon down on the pitch.  The boys team battled hard and Kostia V scored 2 goals to hold a tie late into the game.  Unfortunately, LCCVI scored 2 late goals to seal our defeat and ending our season.  The Boys’ team deserve recognition for the success they had this year.  They played great soccer that surpassed the coaches’ expectations.  Best of luck to our graduating players, our captain, Ryder M, Brennan S, Tyler R, and Eddie M.  Thanks for the great season and we look forward to seeing our returning players on the pitch next Spring.
