1.      Relay 2026 is fast approaching.  Time to Fundraise! You have one week to complete your fundraising.  If you need help with your online fundraising or need a pledge envelope these are available in the main foyer! (Mrs. Sanders)

2.      Over the past few days 15 athletes from NLSS participated in the SWOSSAA track and field meet.  While we had many great performances and athletes who had personal bests, the competition was tough.  Down in Windsor our athletes battled the competition and Arlee R, Skyla W, Arie R, and Josh S earned the right to compete at OFSAA Regionals next week in Cambridge.  Arlee R made it on for 400 m and 800 m.  Josh S made it on for 100 m and 800 m, Skyla W made it for the 800 m and Arie R finished second in both Junior boys Pole Vault and High Jump.  Congratulations athletes!  (Mr. Willemse)

3.      The teacher/student Relay band will practice today at lunch.  Concert Band will resume after school practices next week on Monday and Wednesday after school.

There is a music trip next week to Fanshawe College to check out their Music Industry Arts program and to tour London Music Hall – please see Mr. MacDougall for a permission form.

5.      Girls Rugby – Thanks for a great season girls!  Can’t wait to see where we go with the sport next year!

6.      Boys Soccer – The Boy’s soccer team LKSSAA Championship game against LCCVI has been postponed until Monday, May 25th.  Be ready to come out and cheer on both our Boys and Girls teams as they look to be the 2026 LKSSAA Champions.  Game times to be announced.

7.      NLSS Track Results – Over the past two days your Eagles battled the frigid winds coming off Lake Huron down in Sarnia to compete in the LKSSAA track and field championships.  We had some great results considering it was some of the hardest conditions we’ve competed in all year. Qualifying for SWOSSAA championships down in Windsor this week are Maycie C, Jocelyn F, Hailey R, Arlee R, Stevie S, Josh S, Ellyot S, Skyla W, Colten P, Ben W, Arie R, Rachel A, Madi U, Matt P and Jack W.  It should be noted that Josh S broke the 800 metre record by a full 3 seconds, congratulations to him as he moves on.  And lastly, it should also be pointed out that it’s been over a decade since North Lambton has had an overall champion amidst it’s ranks.  Big Congratulations go to Arlee R who finished with first place finishes in the 400 M and 800 M and a second place finish in the 1600 M to capture the Novice Girls Individual Championship.  So again this is a huge accomplishment.  Way to go ARLEE!!!

8.      Super Smash Bros Tournament continues Monday in the library at lunch.   (Miss Syer)
