1. The 1st NLSS Chess tournament is underway. We will meet Wednesday, May 13th and Friday May 15th. (Mr. Singh)
2. Eagles Beach Volleyball Tournament
Tournament Dates – May 19-22, Deadline for team sign up is May 14th. Sign up sheet will be on the white board by the boys change room. Games will happen during lunch on the beach volleyball courts behind the school. (Mr. Wilson)
3. Girls Rugby - will practice today after school in preparation for our tournament on Thursday. Season fees and permission forms for our tournament next week need to be handed in ASAP.
4. Girls Soccer – Yesterday in Wallaceburg your Girls’ soccer team was soaring high and dominated the Tartans with a 5-0 win to extend their winning streak to 4 games. Kylee B got the scoring started in the first half with a beautiful left foot strike. Emmalee G would score the next 3, yep you heard that right, a natural hat trick,. Emmalee was on FIRE! Ally R would add the fifth goal with a beautiful individual effort and a rocket of a short to the top corner. Anna W, Vanessa L, and Jenn M were great on the back end shutting the Tartans down. Alicia F, Sammie L, Michelle T, Lainie R, Keisha M, Jocelyn F and Jayla T all had great games for the first place Eagles! Way to go girls! Our next game is Thursday in Chatham vs John McGregor.
5. Boys’ Soccer – The boys’ soccer team continued their undefeated season with a 5-0 win in Wallaceburg yesterday. Kostia V opened the scoring early. Eddie M, Ryder M, Owen T and AJ W also added goals. The whole team played a great game shutting down the opposing team’s chances and maintaining ball possession. Brennan Stanlake and Oliver Schoeley shared the shut out. Great game guys! The team practices tonight and have their final regular season game against John McGregor in Chatham on Thursday.
6. Key Club – message to all Key Club members. We will have our last meeting tomorrow at the beginning of lunch in room 313. Don’t forget to bring your volunteer hour forms so they can be completed. (Mr. Hoskin)
7. There will be a Relay Team Captains’ Meeting in Room 245 tomorrow (Tuesday) at the start of lunch! If you are the team captain and cannot attend a member of your team must come in your place. (Mrs. Sanders)
8. Kineto Youth Film contest is due this Friday! If you are interested in using film equipment or editing software, please speak to Mr. Needham or Miss Sye

There is a tournament tomorrow at London St. George’s RFC. Yesterday, our team played a strong game against St. Pat’s. After giving up ten points, our lads scored three tries to take a late lead. St. Pat’s scored in the final three minutes and narrowly defeated us 20-19. Excellent efforts put forward by: Bryson R, Rylee D, Jayden A, Damian G. Justin V added two conversions. No practice tonight. We leave at 8 AM for London tomorrow morning. (Mr. Needham)
10. Super Smash Bros Tournament. Next week we will be having a Super Smash Bros tournament in the library. There are prizes to be won for top 3 players. Staff and students are encouraged to participate. Sign up now! (Miss Syer)

Make sure to pre-order this awesome yearbook that the Yearbook class has proudly been working on throughout the semester before it’s gone forever!
