1. Parkinson’s Awareness Month – April is dedicated to raising awareness worldwide. Parkinson’s is a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder with over 35 potential symptoms, including tremors, stiffness, and balance issues. This campaign focus on educating the public, supporting over 10 million people living with the disease globally, advocating for better care, and funding research for a cure.
2. PMDD Awareness Month – a global effort to highlight the severe, often debilitating, hormonal mood disorder affecting 3-8% of menstruating individuals. It aims to reduce the average 12-year diagnosis delay, promote education, and end the stigma surrounding this condition.
3. Jazz Band – rehearsal at lunch. Next Tuesday there will be a guitar workshop in the music room. See Mr. MacDougall if you are interested in attending.
4. Girls rugby will practice tonight after school. Make sure to dress for the weather. Our game next week has been cancelled. Stay tuned for a new date!
5. There will be a slo-pitch practice on Monday and Wednesday next week at the diamonds in town. All interested players need to join the Google classroom. The code is posted outside of the girls phys ed office. If you cannot attend please speak to Mr. Eberlin or Mrs. Sanders as soon as possible.
6. Relay 2026 – Remember to turn in your permission forms and fees in the main foyer at lunch!! (Mrs. Sanders)
7. Mother’s Day Planters for Sale – To raise money for the Germany trip this July, beautiful planters are for sale just in time for Mother’s Day. You only have two weeks to get your order in? Please see any trip attendee or Mrs. Sutton to place your order. Planters are $30.
8. The Student Success Room is closed this week. Mrs. Sanders’ students sign in with Mr. Murree!! (April 14-April 17)
