1. 1. Community Hours – Literacy Lambton is looking for volunteers to help with students in grade 3 and 4. They are running a program on Tuesday here in Forest. See Mrs. Petrus for more information.
2. 2. Attention: Timetable Change Requests for Semester 2 – For students looking to make changes to their schedules for second semester, please visit Student Services to join the February waitlist. If you would like to speak with Mrs. Petrus directly, she will only be available for appointments January 23,26,27, and 28th after exams. Thank you for your cooperation.
3. 3. Music students in Jazz Band, Concert Band, and choir, please see Mr. MacDougall at lunch for instructions about next week’s Music Night on January 29th.
4. 4. Just a reminder that the library is open regular hours on exam days from 7:30 to 3:00 pm. Come hang out, there will be lots of activities like card and board games, Nintendo, colouring, and more!
5. Community Hours Opportunity – The Forest Skating Club is looking for volunteers on Feb. 20, 21, 22. They are hosting a competition and could use some extra help those days. See the posting outside Student Services or ask Mrs. Petrus for more info.
6. Travel for Credit – EduTravel is excited to offer students currently in grade 9 a chance to earn a highschool credit while experiencing the ultimate road trip. Check out our amazing Summer Civics & Careers Program: Visit Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec. See Student Services for more info.
