1.     1. A reminder that there will be a parent’s meeting for the Japan Trip on Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Library.

2.     2. Art Room Open Studio:  Room 316 – Finish the Semester Strong!  Need extra time to wrap up a project or want to start something new?  Room 316 will be open at lunch for all interested students on the following dates:

Tuesday, January 13 and Thursday, January 15

With the end of the semester approaching qui8ckly, this is the perfect chance to catch up on assignments, refine your portfolio, or simply enjoy some creative time.  (Mrs. Smit)

3.     3. Reminder Graduation Retakes – Monday, January 19th and Tuesday, January 20th in the Career Centre in the Library

4.  Music night was rescheduled to next Thursday, January 15th.

5.  Community Hours Opportunity – The Forest Skating Club is looking for volunteers on Feb. 20, 21, 22.  They are hosting a competition and could use some extra help those days.  See the posting outside Student Services or ask Mrs. Petrus for more info.

6.  Travel for Credit – EduTravel is excited to offer students currently in grade 9 a chance to earn a highschool credit while experiencing the ultimate road trip.  Check out our amazing Summer Civics & Careers Program:  Visit Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec.  See Student Services for more info.
