1.) 1.) Drama Club will meet today at lunch at 11:00am. Get your ideas for the Variety Show finalized so we can pick a theme for the event.
2.) 2.) Music students are reminded to return the Parade permission forms by tomorrow. See Mr. MacDougall at lunch if you need the forms.
3.) 3.) Here’s the latest update on the Holiday Food Drive!
Mr. Murray’s class is still in the lead with 368 points! Mr. MacDougall’s class is still in second place with 173 points! Ms. Brie’s class is still in third place with 96 points! A few classes are starting to sneak up, so keep bringing in items for your chance to win a pizza party! Key Club members will be around today during period A to collect items for the food drive.
4.) Are you still looking for ways to earn your volunteer hours? Do you like to participate in parades? If so, you have a chance to participate in the Forest Santa Claus Parade this Saturday starting at 6:00pm until the parade is finished. If you’re interested, please see Mrs. Hoskin in room 313 today or tomorrow at the beginning of lunch.
5.) There will be a brief Junior Girls Volleyball team meeting at the start of lunch in the gym.
6.) 2025 Yearbooks are still available. Stop by room 316 to grab your book today $45
7.) The chess club will meet on Wednesday Nov. 26 and Friday Nov. 28 in Room 184. Please download a Chess Clock on your phone. That way we can play timed matches and still have time to eat our lunches. We will be recording WINS and LOSSES to create a ranking system. Players can CHALLENGE to gain higher ranks. This will be a fun way to keep things “spicy”.
8.) Intramural Girls Volleyball League An intramural girls volleyball league will be starting for anyone looking to play organized volleyball after school. This will run on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:00 starting December 17. All players of all abilities are welcome - gym shoes are required. A sign-up sheet is posted outside of the Girls Phys Ed Office, see Mrs. Cundick if you have questions.
9.) Calling all Eagle Ladies, Miss Syer is looking to see if there is interest in Girls only Esport Teams. If you are interested in Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, or Rocket League please stop by the library to let Miss Syer know by end of December.
10.) Eagle Cup Floorball Tournament The Eagle cup is back up for grabs! Intramural 4 on 4 floor ball begins next week in the gym at lunch. If you are interested in playing, sign up with your team of up to 7 people on the whiteboard in the gym next to the boys’ change room. Sign up fast, there’s only room for 8 teams!
