1) World Diabetes Day – November 14th
1) The theme of this year’s World Diabetes Day, "Diabetes across life stages,” recognizes that every person living with diabetes should have access to integrated care, supportive environments and policies that promote health, dignity and self-management.

2) Any grade 12 student, who has an all day co-op next semester and is interested in Welding, should see Mrs Petrus about the possibility of Completing OYAP Level 1 Welding Program at Lambton College.
3) 2025 Yearbooks still available -
Stop by room 316 to grab your book. (Mrs. Smit)
4) Teachers are asked to continue collecting change today and tomorrow for the Legion. Funds support Veterans. Please send all collections to the office by Friday at lunch.
5) The Countdown is on! Next Thursday we will be having a party in the library to celebrate the release of the movie Wicked part 2.
Free pins will be given out that day as your party gift! Be sure to come to experience this fun day! (MISS Syer)
6) Learn how to use the Cricut paper cutting machine Tuesday in the library at lunch. Miss Syer will only be showing how to use this once a month so be sure to come if you are interested. The Cricut can be used to upscale your crafts, posters, T-shirts, and more (Miss Syer)
7) Jr and Sr Girls volleyball tryouts begin on Wednesday and Thursday at lunch, and then the following Monday, November 24th after school. Please sign up outside of the girls’ change room if you are interested in trying out. If you have any questions, please speak to Mr. Eberlin or Mrs. Cundick
8) Community Hours Opportunities for Students: Forest Cliff camp is looking for a few students to help out on Nov. 21 and Nov. 22; Train your Brain is looking for some student volunteer to help with a literacy and numeracy program in Forest; See Mrs. Petrus for more info about these opportunities

9) Would you like to chess at lunch against fellow students and perhaps teachers? Please speak to Mr. Singh. If there is enough interest we can organize a club. If you just want to challenge Mr. Singh for a “one off” game, let him know. All challengers are welcome.
10) Next Wednesday the NLSS Wrestling Team is hosting the LCCVI Lancers in a dual here in our cafeteria. Come cheer on your Eagles as many of us get our first taste of competition. (Mr. Smit)
11) Just a reminder to the students who are volunteering on Saturday at the Bosanquet Vendor Market, that we will need you to come for 9:30 AM until 3:30 pm. We would like you to wear something that says North Lambton Secondary School. For everyone else, please come! There's a BBQ, Santa, and lots of ideas for Holiday Gifts. We look forward to a really fun day!
