1) Wednesday in the library at lunch come and learn how to use the Cricut Explore 3. It can cut things like vinyl and cardstock to make all sorts of crafts. Miss Syer will only be showing how to use this once a month so be sure to stop by if you are interested.
2) There will be a drama club meeting at 11 am in the Drama Room to check in about Trivia Night. Check the posted schedule for rehearsals. (Mr. MacDougall)
3) Drama Club members interested in the trip to the Grand Theatre to see the Play that Goes Wrong should see Mr. MacDougall today at lunch.
4) Yesterday, the cross country team competed in the Springwater Invitational meet. The team was small but mighty with strong finishes by Ellyot S (11th - junior girls), Colten P (4th - junior boys) and an impressive finish by the novice girls - Hailey R (3rd), Jocelyn F (10th) and Arlee R (11th) Congratulations team!

7) Wednesday night our Junior Girls' went down to Chatham to play John McGregor in their first road game of the year. Our girls took a bit to shake off the jitters, playing in an unfamiliar gym. Fortunately, our girls tough defense helped to keep the Panthers at bay while the girls found their scoring touch. Inevitably our girls defeated McGregor 29-10. Leading the way for our Eagles was Miranda M with 12 points, Julia L with 5 and Ally R with 4. (Mr. Willemse)
8) Wednesday night our Senior Girls' Basketball team played the John McGregor's rugby team in the challenging confines of the John McGregor gym. This game saw 46 fouls and 5 players fouled out of this game. To say it was a tough win would be an understatement. Our girls fought back in the second half to take the lead and never looked back. The Panthers eventually lost 3 players who fouled out of the game our girls took control. Our girls would eventually win out and defeated the Panthers 45-37. Leading the way for the Eagles was Ally R with 13 points, Lily H with 12 points and Vanessa L with 7 points,. Great work ladies! (Mr. Willemse)
