Lambton Shores Fire Department is presenting fire safety to all our students today at GBPS.

Buses to Grand Bend PS are not operating this morning due to the fog. Buses will run as normal this afternoon.

We held our Grand Bend PS Terry Fox run today. Students and staff were out in the beautiful weather this afternoon to support such an amazing cause. Go Lakers!!

Power has returned to the school, but due to today's outage, tonight's Meet the Teacher Open House has been postponed.

We will provide an update regarding a new date for the Open House once it has been determined.

Meet the Teacher Postponed. We are unsure of when we will have hydro tonight, so we will have to reschedule the meet-the-teacher for another time. We will let you know as soon as we have the new date and time.

Grand Bend Public School is currently without hydro, which means our phone lines are also unavailable at this time.

The current estimated restoration time is 1:30 p.m.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update as soon as additional information becomes available.

The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire bard came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.
