🏅 HISTORY IN MOTION
The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire bard came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.

*More great photos to come!

We were able to contribute 650 food items. We took on this project as part of our social studies curriculum identifying a problem in our community and working together to help solve it. We made lots of social studies, math, and literacy connections. Great job to our Errol Road students and families :)

Friendly Reminder: Friday, June 5th is a PA Day across all Lambton Kent District School Board Schools!

Ms. Kenny's 1/2 class is doing a mini food collection for the Inn of the Good Shepherd. Have something in your pantry that you can donate? We would love for you to send it in!

Our SK/1 & 4/5 classes took a city charter bus to Lambton Mall to enjoy some Booster Juice :)

Please join us for our Kinder Open House

Ms. Kenny's Grade 2 class enjoyed going outside to explore life cycles of plants and animals in the garden. They found many insects, worms, and birds and they noticed that plants were starting to grow.

Mrs. Richie-Da Silva's FDK class created pictures of the important women in their lives after reading Tess's Red Dress which focused on themes around Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. They focused on their special connections with their mothers, grandmothers, sisters, cousins, etc.

Congratulations boys on a great Junior Basketball season! Keep ballin’!

Grade 1/2 FI class enjoying their pj day :)

Last week we welcomed Brothers Wilde to Errol Road! Brothers Wilde is a local country-rock band formed by two Indigenous brothers from Kettle & Stony Point First Nation. To say our Roadrunners had a good time is an understatement! A huge thank you to Mrs. Richie‑DaSilva for putting together this incredible event, and to our parent council for helping make it possible through their generous funding.

Yesterday our students participated in the Big Crunch! We would like to thank @osnpsouthwest for providing the apples and also funding our schools snack program :)

Season ends on a high note, great job Roadrunners! 🏀
