We had lots to celebrate at our Year End Assembly yesterday! Congratulations to Dane P. on his top finish at our Board Meet earlier this month. Also, congratulations to our bike draw winners. The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire bard came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.

This year's ceremony for our graduating Grade 8 students will be held on June 18 from 6:30-9:30 pm at LKCS. Congrats, Graduates!
