Our Black History Month celebrations continued today with Ms. Rahn for presenting to some of our Grade 2-4 students to share the powerful art and history of Black History Quilting. 🖤✨
The students were captivated as they learned how quilts were more than just blankets—they were symbols of resilience, storytelling, and even secret maps. Through patterns and fabric Ms. Rahn showed us how history can be preserved one stitch at a time. #lkdsbblackhistorymonth

We have lots of items in our Lost & Found! Table #3 has a fine assortment of gloves and hats. If you recognize something, please let us know!

We’ve seen some misinformation circulating online surrounding the potential Dresden landfill and its relation to the Lambton Kent Composite School and we would like to clear up any confusion:
The Lambton Kent District School Board has absolutely no plans or intentions to close, move, or sell Lambton Kent Composite School (LKCS).
For more than 55 years, LKCS has been a cornerstone of the Dresden community—educating students from Dawn-Euphemia Public School, Zone Township Central School, Thamesville Area Public School, Dresden Area Central School, and beyond. It’s a school where tradition meets excellence, and we’re proud of the incredible opportunities it provides for our students.
We value the trust and support of our families and community. The best way to stay informed about LKDSB news and updates?
