Meet the Teacher
Hey Dresden Area Central School families! We’ve officially reached that glorious (and maybe slightly chaotic) final weekend before the real routine kicks back in. We hope you all have an absolutely fantastic long weekend. Savour these last moments of unscheduled freedom, because the staff here at DACS cannot wait to see all those smiling faces on Tuesday, September 8th!

A friendly reminder to set those alarms—and maybe double-check them—because we’ll be kicking things off right at 8:00 AM. We are ready to have a truly great year. Get excited, get those backpacks packed, and we’ll see you soon!

LKDSB Summer Connections Camp - Registration Now Open (students doing a project together)
🏅 HISTORY IN MOTION
The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire bard came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.
