June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada. This is a time to honour and celebrate the culture, heritage and achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Metis people. Some of our classes had the unique opportunity to attend the Pow Wow at Sir John Moore Public School. This event offered our students a wonderful lesson in respect, sharing and Indigenous traditions.
