Our school recently hosted a visit from Theland Kicknosway. He is a traditional singer, drummer and a grass and hoop dancer. Our students enjoyed an unforgettable educational experience when he demonstrated hoop dancing and spoke about various Indigenous customs. Theland has dedicated his life to preserving and sharing Indigenous culture and our school community enjoyed this time to honour and celebrate this rich heritage.
