The Lambton Kent District School Board is deeply saddened by the events that occurred this morning at Lambton College. We recognize that this news is unsettling for many in our community, especially families connected to Alexander Mackenzie Secondary School.
Because AMSS students and staff have been attending Lambton College during the construction period at AMSS, we acted early and with intention this morning.
The safety and well‑being of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely, and we will adjust our plans as needed to support our school community.
We understand that today’s events may be upsetting, and support will be available for any student or staff member who needs it. I want to thank our families, students, and staff for their cooperation, patience, and trust as we navigate this situation together.
