​Students at Wallaceburg District Secondary School have been dismissed early on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 due to a local water line issue in the Wallaceburg area. Based on the estimated time of restoration and no access to water at the school, Lambton Kent District School Board has decided to close the school to students for the day on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

The school is notifying parents/guardians and student transportation will be provided for Wallaceburg District Secondary School students (including Grade 7/8 students) to ensure that students are safely transported home.

It is expected that Wallaceburg District Secondary School will be open to students on Thursday, November 10.
