Dear Parents/Guardians,

This letter is to notify you of an incident that occurred at the school on Tuesday, October 1 at approximately 11 a.m.

Students were secured inside the building as a precautionary measure due to a possible safety concern in relation to the school. School staff immediately notified Lambton OPP and followed the Lambton Kent District School Board's Shelter-in Place procedure as per our Safe School protocols. The Shelter-in-Place remained in effect until 11:30 a.m., when Lambton OPP confirmed there is no concern for students' safety.

Student safety is a top priority for the Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB). We take all concerns regarding student safety seriously.
