The Lambton Kent District School Board is committed to providing safe and caring learning environments for our students. From time to time, there may be situations that arise, which need to be addressed. When appropriate and in the interest of transparency, we will issue a communication to our school community to inform parents/guardians about an incident. We also follow the direction of our local police services in communicating information to our school communities.

As well, teachers address the topic of personal safety with our students in age-appropriate ways as part of the regular curriculum, and as the need arises, to reinforce these important lessons. As partners in education, we encourage parents and guardians to also speak with your children about personal safety strategies.

We appreciate the ongoing support and direction of our local police services and community partners to ensure overall student safety and well-being.
