Great Lakes Secondary School had its first student art show. With over 40 entries, eleven awards were presented on May 11. "An integral part of studying Visual Arts is learning and developing new skills, taking yourself out of your comfort zone and taking pride in what you have been able to achieve, even when the creative process takes you somewhere unexpected," says visual arts teacher, Ms. McIntyre.
