Starting with our January 2019 food and milk orders, all orders must be completed online using the School Cash Online program. We will no longer accept printed copies and/or cash or cheques.

We currently have 55% of our families signed up and using School Cash Online. With this percentage, we are currently needing to process our monthly food orders using two processes. This is very time consuming and difficult to ensure accuracy of ordering and delivery. The effort and time it currently takes to organize the orders is not sustainable for our volunteers.

The safety of using School Cash Online has been investigated by LKDSB as well as other school boards across the province. One of the safety features is that when using MyWallet to add funds to your account, the program will not save the banking information – it needs to be entered each time.

Using School Cash Online provides financial safety and reduces the risk of the school handling cash/cheques.
