Ministry of Education conducting online survey and public engagement sessions regarding the Third Progress Report on the implementation of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Education Policy Framework

​The Ministry of Education is conducting an online survey to encourage feedback and inform the development of the Third Progress Report on the implementation of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Education Policy Framework. This survey is intended to capture the successes and help to identify promising practices and opportunities to provide further support to enhance the achievement and well-being of Indigenous students.

All students, parents/guardians and families, teaching and nonteaching staff, and Indigenous organizations and partners are invited to participate in the online survey and focus groups. The survey is open until June 23, 2017 and the focus groups will be held throughout the month of May and June.

The Ministry will be hosting a series of online focus groups for students, parents/guardians and families, teaching and nonteaching staff, and Indigenous, communities, organizations and partners to share their perspectives. Please contact thirdprogressreport@gmail.com to confirm participation in the online focus group sessions.
