June 01, 2020

PrideMonth2020.png

The month of June is nationally recognized as Pride Month in Canada. The Lambton Kent District School Board is committed to student achievement, well-being and championing anti-oppressive education. In support of the LGBTQ+ community, the LKDSB is displaying the Pride Flag from June 1-5.

The LKDSB believes a safe and caring learning environment is strengthened by embracing diversity, and respecting self, others and the world around us. Through the display of the Pride flag in June, the LKDSB is demonstrating support of diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as the safety and well-being of all students, staff, parents/guardians and community members.
