​The Lambton Kent District School Board takes all concerns regarding student and staff safety seriously and we act accordingly to ensure a safe school environment.

North Lambton Secondary School Administration became aware of rumours regarding a potential concern on Sunday, Sept. 22 involving an alleged threat. The LKDSB worked with Lambton OPP and school staff followed the LKDSB's Safe Schools Protocol to ensure student and staff safety.

Lambton OPP has investigated and confirmed there is no concern or risk for student or staff safety. The school is open today.

The LKDSB reinforces that it takes the spreading of unsubstantiated rumours and the misuse of social media seriously. In the interest of student, and school safety, we would encourage parents/guardians to have conversations regarding the responsible use of social media and report any issues to the school.​
