Grade 6-8 students attending the Brooke Central Public School site have been dismissed early on Monday, December 12, 2022 due to a local water line issue. Following discussions with the Municipality and Lambton Public Health and based on the estimated time of restoration and no access to water at the school, Lambton Kent District School Board has decided to close the school to students at the site for the remainder of the day on Monday, December 12.

The school is notifying parents/guardians to ensure that students are safely transported home.

Please note: Brooke Central Public School students attending East Lambton Elementary School and Lambton Centennial Public School are not impacted by today's temporary site closure and student transportation will continue to operate as per the typical schedule.

It is expected that the Brooke Central Public School site will be open to students on Tuesday, December 13.
