​Due to the power outages in the area and the estimated time of restoration, Lambton Kent District School Board has decided to close Harwich-Raleigh Public School, Merlin Area Public School, W.J. Baird Public School, Wheatley Area Public School and Blenheim District High School to students for the day on Thursday, February 23, 2023.​

Due to power outages in the area, Blenheim District High School students will not transition to virtual learning. 

School buses in the school zone were cancelled due to inclement weather.

It is expected that the schools will be open to students on Friday, February 24, 2023. Due to the temporary power outage, the phone lines at the school are currently unavailable. If parents/guardians need to contact the school, please reach out to the Lambton Kent District School Board at 519-336-1500.
