​​On November 3, 2021, the Lambton Kent District School Board and the Occasional Teachers of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario reached a tentative agreement.

The agreement is subject to ratification by both parties. Details will be available following ratification.

“We are pleased to reach a tentative agreement with the Occasional Teachers of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario," said Chair Randy Campbell. “We appreciate the ongoing dedication and commitment of the Occasional Teachers of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario to support student achievement and well-being."

A provincial collective agreement between the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario, the Ontario Public School Boards' Association (OPSBA) and the Government of Ontario was ratified in April 2020.
