The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) will be honouring the outstanding achievements and significant contributions made by staff members during a special virtual event.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Employee Retirement and 25 Years of Service Recognition Ceremony was paused for the 2019-2020 school year. This year, the LKDSB looks forward to celebrating virtually to recognize retirees and long-term service recipients from both the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years.
Retirees, long-term service employees and their families and friends are invited to view the pre-recorded video June 24-July 22, 2021. Click here to watch the video.
"On behalf of Trustees, I am pleased to congratulate all of the retirees and those with 25 years of service with the Lambton Kent District School Board," said Randy Campbell, Chair. “Regardless of position or length of employment with the LKDSB, each of the retirees and long-term service award recipients have dedicated their careers to supporting student success and well-being."
Approximately 160 retirees will be honoured. In addition, Trustees also recognize 63 staff members who have 25 years of service with the LKDSB.
