Dear Lambton Kent District School Board Students and Families:
I am writing to inform you that Sarnia Police Service has charged a Lambton Kent District School Board teacher with indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age. This teacher has not been in the school since the allegations were made. School staff and the Lambton Kent District School Board have fully cooperated with the police during their investigation, and will continue to do so.
I wanted to inform you of this, as the LKDSB values open and transparent dialogue with its students, families and the community.
The LKDSB takes all allegations seriously and will continue to cooperate with police on this matter. I feel it is important to note that LKDSB staff will ensure students receive the necessary supports in order to mitigate the impact on students' success and well-being.

Sarnia Police Media Release
On February 4, 2021, the Sarnia Police Service received complaints regarding a teacher from Great Lakes Secondary School in Sarnia having committed an indecent act during an online class which took place earlier that day.
Officers from the Criminal Investigations Branch launched an investigation into the allegation and on February 5, 2021, Timothy Molyneaux, 60 years of age, was charged with indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age.
Molyneaux's first court appearance is scheduled for 9:30 AM, on April 6, 2021, at the Sarnia Lambton Court House located at 700 Christina Street North.
The Lambton Kent District School Board is conducting an internal investigation regarding this incident.
