LKDSB Appoints Malinda Little to Board of Trustees

October 28, 2020

Trustees for the Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) appointed Malinda Little to the Board of Trustees during the October 27, 2020 Board Meeting.

During the meeting, 11 candidates presented to the Board of Trustees to express their interest in filling the Trustee vacancy, and Trustees voted to appoint the successful candidate. Little will attend the first meeting as Trustee at the November 10 Board Meeting.

As the successful candidate, Little will attend bi-monthly Board Meetings, which alternate between the Corporate Office in Sarnia and the Regional Office in Chatham and participate in additional committee work. Little is filling a Trustee vacancy in the Sarnia and Point Edward area.

β€œOn behalf of the Board of Trustees, we look forward to Malinda Little joining the LKDSB as we work collectively to support student achievement and well-being and further the Mission, Vision and Strategic Priorities," said Chair Jane Bryce.

The LKDSB provides educational services to more than 21,000 students in 62 elementary and secondary schools, with approximately 3,000 staff. LKDSB schools are located throughout the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, the City of Sarnia and the County of Lambton.
