Trustees for the Lambton Kent District School Board re-elected Jane Bryce as Chair and Randy Campbell as Vice-Chair of the Board during the Annual Organizational Meeting held on December 3, 2019.

Bryce has served as a school board trustee since 1994. She has formally held the positions as Chair and Vice-Chair. Campbell was elected to the LKDSB in 2006 and was named Vice-Chair in 2018 after serving on various Board committees.

“I greatly appreciate the ongoing support of the Board and I look forward to continuing in my position as Chair,” said Bryce. “Looking ahead, we remain committed to effective governance that puts students first, as well as making informed leadership decisions that will ensure the LKDSB is well positioned to support current and future students’ success and well-being.”

“I am grateful to the Board for extending my position as Vice-Chair for another year,” said Campbell. “As Trustees, we will work together to promote transparent, accountable and responsible governance that meets the unique needs of our school communities.”

“I congratulate Chair Jane Bryce and Vice-Chair Randy Campbell on their continued leadership of the Board of Trustees,” said John Howitt, Director of Education. “Under the Board’s strategic direction, the LKDSB will engage with students, parents/guardians and community partners to provide a quality education that helps students reach their individual goals and foster success for every student, every day.”
