LKDSB to honour staff contributions, retirees at June 3 ceremony

EmployeeRecAndSerCeremonyTwitter.png​Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB)Trustees will be honouring the outstanding achievements and significant contributions made by staff members during a special ceremony held on Monday, June 3, 2019. The annual Employee Retirement Recognition and 25 Years of Service Ceremony will be held at the Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre (1212 North Street, Dresden), beginning at 7 p.m.

"We are proud of the dedication and commitment of our staff in supporting student achievement. We look forward to honouring the outstanding careers of retiring staff and those celebrating 25 years of service," said LKDSB Chair Jane Bryce.

A total of 103 retirees will be honoured. In addition, Trustees will also recognize 28 staff members who have 25 years of service with the LKDSB and its predecessor boards.       

The LKDSB employs 2,371 staff who provide excellence in education to approximately 21,890 students in 62 elementary and secondary public schools.

Members of the media are welcome to attend. Please arrive prior to the event at 6:30 p.m. to arrange interviews.
