LKDSB to honour staff contributions, retirees at June 4 ceremony

Lambton Kent District School Board Trustees will be honouring the outstanding achievements and significant contributions made by staff members during a special ceremony held on Monday, June 4, 2018. The annual Employee Retirement and 25 years of Service Recognition Ceremony will be held at Lambton-Kent Memorial Hall (1212 North Street, Dresden), beginning at 7 p.m.

"The Employee Retirement and 25 years of Service Recognition Ceremony is an opportunity for the LKDSB to recognize the outstanding commitment and dedication of its staff in support of promoting student achievement,” said LKDSB Chair Elizabeth Hudie.

A total of 105 retirees will be honoured. In addition, Trustees will also recognize 28 staff members who have 25 years of service with the LKDSB and its predecessor boards.
The LKDSB employs 2,335 staff who provide excellence in education to approximately 21,800
students in 64 elementary and secondary public schools.

Members of the media are welcome to attend. Please arrive prior to the event at 6:30 p.m. to arrange interviews.
